What's the answer to the Storm Atronach's riddle?
  • 1 of 6: Examine the riddle line by line and make a list of all the possibly-guilty characters and their statements.
  • 2 of 6: The list should look something like this:

    Altmer: the Dunmer did it.
    Dunmer: the Khajiit did it.
    Orc: I didn't do it.
Khajiit: I didn't do it (Dunmer is lying).
  • 3 of 6: Analyzing the statements, you should be able to see that the Dunmer and Khajiit can't both be telling the truth or both lying.
  • 4 of 6: That means one or the other of them is telling the truth.
  • 5 of 6: This makes it certain that the Altmer and Orc are both lying since we're given the fact that only one character is telling the truth.
  • 6 of 6: Since the Orc said he didn't do it, and we now know he's lying, then obviously he *did* do it. Case closed!
