The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Why do the Ordinator guards keep attacking me all the time?
1 of 8: Because you keep attacking them all the time.
2 of 8: Or because you have a sky-high bounty on you.
3 of 8: Or because you once committed the unforgivable mistake of talking to an Ordinator while wearing an Indoril helm or cuirass.
4 of 8: The first two problems are very easy to solve (see a Thieves Guild Bounty Removal guy for the second one), but the third one isn't.
5 of 8: There's no non-cheat way to get the Ordinators to stop attacking you on sight if they've caught you wearing their sacred armor, so either you'll have to put up with their attacks forever, or you can use the following cheat method to calm them down.
6 of 8: You can always stop a single nearby Ordinator (or anyone else) from attacking you by pressing ~ to get the PC console window, clicking on the attacker, and typing the following two commands in order:
setfight 30 stopcombat
7 of 8: A quicker way to calm them all down at once is to get the console window and then type all of the following commands:
8 of 8: That should take care of most of the Ordinators in the Vivec City region. However, note that the specific Ordinators you talked to while wearing the Indoril armor will never forgive you, and you'll have to kill them or use the above single-stop method on each of them.
