The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Kill Hard-Heart
1 of 6: Mercius' last quest has you going after the Camonna Tong-loving Fighters Guild Master himself.
2 of 6: You can also get this as a quest from Gentleman Jim Stacey of the Thieves Guild. You'll want to get the quest from both him and Mercius before you actually perform it. (If you don't, you may accidentally shortcut a bunch of Thieves Guild quests.)
3 of 6: Before you go, you might want to use the key Mercius gave you to unlock his room nearby (if you haven't already picked the lock and raided the place). It has glass armor and orc armor in chests.
4 of 6: When you're ready, you'll find Hard-Heart in the Vivec Fighters Guild, down near where gro-Aglakh was.
5 of 6: He won't attack you on sight, so just walk up to him and start slashing (or taunt him into attacking you to make sure no one else in the building turns hostile).
6 of 6: Once he's dead, report back to Gentleman Jim Stacey to get a Skeleton Key and be named Master Thief, and to Percius Mercius to be proclaimed the new Fighters Guild Master.
