Ideal Armor Sets
This is a list of all of the best unenchanted armor in all three weight categories and the best places to get them, plus a list of the very best enchanted artifacts just below them. By "best," I mean strictly going by armor rating. Pre-made enchantments, enchant potential, cash value, and so forth were not considered when making these lists.
NOTE: All of the medium armor items listed below are available only in Mournhold (Tribunal expansion) or Solstheim (Bloodmoon expansion). See the separate UHS hint files for those two expansion games to find out things like how to get to Mournhold and Solstheim, how to do the EEC quests, etc.
