The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Become the Zainab Nerevarine.
1 of 18: The Zainab Ashlander Camp is at location 16 on the Tel Mora map.
2 of 18: Just barge right into the ashkhan's yurt and talk to Kaushad about "Nerevarine."
3 of 18: Tell him your story, show him your proofs, and ask him to set you a task.
4 of 18: He'll send you to the Nerano Ancestral Tomb (location 10 on the map) to kill a vampire named Calvario.
5 of 18: Oh, wait. He wants you to get him a high-born Telvanni bride, too. She has to be "a pretty one, plump, with big hips to bring me many sons." Ha! Sounds like he needs a lesson or two about exactly where babies come from.
6 of 18: His wife-to-be can teach him that, but where are you gonna find one? The Telvannis are way too haughty to let their daughters marry Ashlanders.
7 of 18: Talk to Zabamat in the wise woman's yurt about "counsel" to formulate a plan.
8 of 18: You're to go to Tel Aruhn and talk to Savile Imayn about buying and fancying up a Dunmer slave girl to pass as a high-born Telvanni woman. Head NE to get to Tel Mora, then take the ship there to Tel Aruhn.
9 of 18: But before you do, visit the clothier's shop in Tel Mora and buy an exquisite shirt, an exquisite skirt, and a pair of exquisite shoes. You'll need them in Tel Aruhn. (If you don't want to pay for them, you can look in a closet upstairs to find what you need, but there's some Celery person up there to prevent an easy steal.)
10 of 18: Talk to Imayn near one of the Underground entrances about "something special."
11 of 18: She'll tell you to get the exquisite clothing items, but you already have them, so talk to her again to show them to her. (If you didn't listen to what I said earlier, go back to Tel Mora to buy those clothes first, and then return to her.)
12 of 18: Now she wants Telvanni Bug Musk. You could have bought some (or stolen it off the shelf) in the Tel Mora apothecary shop, and you can do the same in the Tel Aruhn apothecary shop.
13 of 18: When she sees that you have the buggy perfume, she'll make you an offer on Falura Llervu, a slave girl that will fit the bill once she has the clothes and perfume on.
14 of 18: Her initial offer is 1,200 gold, but if her disposition is 60 or better, you'll be able to get away with a counter-offer of 1,000 gold.
15 of 18: Once Imayn gives you the key, use it to open the slave pod that's nearby. Llervu is inside it.
16 of 18: Talk to Llervu about her name and then "some presents" to give her the clothes and musk to put on. Then choose "travel together" to start on the long journey back to the Zainab camp.
17 of 18: Lead her to the boat and sail to Vos, then head SW across the rugged terrain to get to the camp. You'll have to protect her carefully from all the critters roaming about, as she's no fighter.
18 of 18: When you arrive at the Zainab camp, enter the ashkhan's yurt and talk to Kaushad about "Telvanni bride" to be named the Zainab Nerevarine and get the Thong of Zainab (which can cast Detect Animal).
