The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Ice Blade of the Monarch
1 of 7: Varian's third get-the-cool-artifact quest has you going to the Rotheran stronghold, which is at location 20 on the Dagon Fel map.
2 of 7: When you arrive, enter the Arena area and kill all the evil Dunmer who attack you.
3 of 7: One of them is Llaren Terano, the guy who has the Ice Blade of the Monarch. He also has Adusamsi's stuff and the slave cell key, so get those too.
4 of 7: Also be sure to kill Irusie Othran to get the Rotheran slave key.
5 of 7: Once you've done all that, go open up the doors in the arena pit and free each slave individually.
6 of 7: There's a special one named Adusamsi Assurnarairan who needs her ring to be free. If you don't have it, go find it on Llaren Terano's body.
7 of 7: Once she's gone, you might as well be. Return to Varian to finish the quest and get Adusamsi's ring back (which can be used to cast Divine Intervention).
