The Scroll of Fiercely Roasting
1 of 8: Varian's fourth get-it quest is a little different in that you're recovering an item that was recently lost when some guy went to get revenge on a High Elf priest named Carecalmo.
2 of 8: The place you need to go is the Ashalmimilkala Shrine. It's at location 21 on the Balmora map.
3 of 8: Carecalmo's loyal knight, Meryaran, is just inside the shrine, so you'll have to fight him.
4 of 8: A little further on, you'll find the body of Urjorad and the Scroll of Fiercely Roasting in a large ruined room with a big square pool of water in its center.
5 of 8: You can just take the scroll and leave, but there's another extra-credit opportunity here.
6 of 8: If you think you can take on a powerful spellcaster, then jump into the square pool and swim forward and up the stairs to get to Carecalmo's room.
7 of 8: If you manage to kill him, be sure to take his Belt of Sanguine Martial Craft. It's one of the many Sanguine items that are needed for a Morag Tong quest called "Threads of the Webspinner."
8 of 8: Return to Varian to finish the quest, getting the usual Reputation increase and the Gauntlets of Glory.
