The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Sorkvild the Raven
of 8: Necromancers are very unpopular, and Hard-Heart is one of many quest-givers who will tell you to go kill one.
of 8: This one is Sorkvild the Raven, the guy who lives in Sorkvild's Tower at location 15 on the Ald Daedroth map. (Note that although his tower ended up in Ald Daedroth in my region divisions, it's just east of the town of Dagon Fel, so take a boat there to get to it the quickest.)
of 8: There isn't much inside other than Sorkvild's actual tower room, but do search Minedhel's body to get a Saint's Black Sword. There are also several pieces of limeware and a Dwemer Scarab Schematic that are worth a bit of money.
of 8: When you're ready, take the ladder up to Sorkvild's room and kill him.
of 8: He has a really great helm on him called the Masque of Clavicus Vile. It's got a very high AC value for Heavy Armor users, and it adds a lot to your Personality stat as long as you have it on.
of 8: There are also several valuable reagents on a shelf and a table, a couple of skill books, and a Daedric dagger sitting on a piece of paper on a little table.
of 8: Once you've cleaned the place out, return to Hard-Heart to finish up. Don't forget to check for advancement, too.
of 8: Also note that you can now talk to people in Dagon Fel about Sorkvild the Raven to increase their dispositions (max of 60). They didn't like the guy, either.
