The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Chrysamere
1 of 6: Vantinius' second quest also has you going after a lost Legion treasure. (Note that the journal regards this as the second half of the "Lord's Mail" quest.)
2 of 6: Chrysamere is currently in the possession of a sorceress named Draramu Hloran.
3 of 6: She's holed up in the Abanabi cave, which is location 10 on the Sadrith Mora map.
4 of 6: Abanabi is another fairly simple cave with few opponents, but don't underestimate the ones that are there. Hloran in particular is very powerful and isn't afraid to use Chrysamere against you.
5 of 6: You'll find her high up in the huge watery chamber with the precarious stone walkways. (You can go diving for raw ebony in here sometime if you feel like it.)
6 of 6: Once you manage to kill her, take Chrysamere from her and go turn it in to Vantinius to get promoted to Knight of the Garland.
