Combat Tips
1 of 4: You don't have to do the entire battle with the netch using the fork -- you just have to deliver the killing blow with it.
2 of 4: You could shoot the netch full of arrows first, then move in with the fork.
3 of 4: Another way is to use a spell (like Toxic Cloud) to start an injury-over-time effect on the giant netch, and then switch to the fork as your currently readied weapon before it dies.
4 of 4: However, save your game before attacking the netch in any way, since you'll have to restore and try again if you accidentally kill it without having the fork as your current weapon.
