Which class should I choose?
  • 1 of 4: Read up on each of the 21 classes on pages 22 through 24 of the manual before you make your decision.
  • 2 of 4: Also note that the classes are divided up into three categories which correspond to the old "fighter vs. magic-user vs. thief" choice. Some of the pre-made classes are strictly one of those three class types, while others are essentially split-class (such as the Battlemage, which is like a fighter / mage).
  • 3 of 4: Instead of picking a class from the list, you could have Ergalla ask you ten questions, and your responses determine what class you get (like in some of the old Ultima games). If you don't like it, you can always click on the "Back" button.
  • 4 of 4: Also, you can create your own custom-made class, specifying exactly what strengths your character has and what his skill layout is. Most experienced Morrowind players will want to do it this way.
