Bero's Support
- 1 of 11: Curio next tells you that you need the support of another House Hlaalu councilor, and that Dram Bero is the most likely one to agree to this.
- 2 of 11: If you don't already know where Dram Bero is hiding out, ask around in Vivec to find out.
- 3 of 11: You'll be directed to the St. Olms section of the city.
- 4 of 11: If you check out the plaza, you'll see a very interesting mansion called the Haunted Manor. Why not investigate it?
- 5 of 11: Dram Bero is in the Haunted Manor in a section behind a locked door. (Note that there are some lockpicks hidden under a table near the locked door if you need them.)
- 6 of 11: When you make it to him, talk to him about getting his support on the council.
- 7 of 11: He'll say that you can have his support if you can defeat his champion, Garding the Bold, in a duel.
- 8 of 11: Garding is in a nearby room, so talk to him about a duel to arrange it.
- 9 of 11: When you're ready, go to the Arena area in the city and enter the Arena Pit. (The easiest door to find is the outside one, which leads to the pit's upper level. Just jump down into the pit to find Garding ready to rumble.)
- 10 of 11: You're not supposed to kill Garding, so either zap him with a Sleep spell, knock him unconscious in hand-to-hand combat, or injure him with a weapon until he concedes defeat.
- 11 of 11: Return to Dram Bero to report your victory, then get back to Curio for the next quest.
