Grandmaster
  • 1 of 5: Once you're an Exalted Master and are ready to be promoted again, you can talk to Eno Hlaalu about "Grandmaster" to do it.
  • 2 of 5: He'll say he wants to retire peacefully but that it's traditional for the new Grandmaster to kill the old one in honorable combat.
  • 3 of 5: You can choose either way, but you'll never get all your Sanguine items back if you let him live. He'll just disappear with them the next time you exit and reenter the HQ area, and that will be that.
  • 4 of 5: You'll probably want to save your game and give killing him a try. Who knows, you may win (especially if you use the cool Black Hands Dagger he gave you for completing his last special duty -- slash him once and run!).
  • 5 of 5: Note, however, that you don't want to become Grandmaster until you've finished the Webspinner quest. If Hlaalu retires or dies before you give him all the Sanguine items, you'll never be able to get the extremely useful Mephala's Skill spell.
