The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

Slay Raxle Berne

  • 1 of 10: Rotheloth's last quest is a very, very tough one to do, and you'll have to be a Curate in the Temple to even get it.
  • 2 of 10: You're to travel to Galom Daeus (location 18 on the Tel Aruhn map) and kill Raxle Berne, the leader of the Berne vampire clan. Sure, Rotheloth gives you a really great artifact hammer called Veloth's Judgement, but this is still going to be a really hard quest to do.
  • 3 of 10: There are a lot of vampires in Galom Daeus, it being the Berne clan headquarters and all. There are even vampire shopkeepers that sell goods to Berne clan members.
  • 4 of 10: NOTE: If you want to do any of the Vampire Quests, and think you'd like to be a Berne vampire, then wait to do this quest until after you become a Berne vampire, do all those quests, and then get cured.
  • 5 of 10: To get into the vampire shop area, kill Ildogesto and take his key. It opens the locked doors to the shops. You can find lots of good stuff in there, including ebony and Daedric equipment.
  • 6 of 10: When you want to get serious about killing Mr. Berne himself, enter the Observatory.
  • 7 of 10: You'll find him standing around in the main telescope room.
  • 8 of 10: Once he's dead, there are several things you can get in the Observatory before leaving.
  • 9 of 10: Once you're done, return to Rotheloth to finish up this quest and his entire series.
  • 10 of 10: If you were infected by a vampire during this quest, you'll probably want to use a Cure Disease potion or spell before three days pass by. Why become a Berne vampire after killing off that clan's leader?
