The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Compassion
1 of 7: Tuls Valen is in the Ald'ruhn Temple. Talk to him about duties to get his quests after you complete the initial seven shrines quest.
2 of 7: The first one is to cure an orc that's caught the blight disease.
3 of 7: Valen gives you a potion that will do the trick but says that he prefers that you not use it.
4 of 7: If you want to play that way, you can go upstairs and buy the Rilm's Gift spell from Folvys Andalor. It'll cure both common and blight disease in a single casting. (Other spells that cure blight will work too, including Vivec's Touch.)
5 of 7: Bulfim gra-Shugarz, the blight sufferer, is just inside the main portion of the Maelkashishi Shrine at location 9 on the Maar Gan map. (Don't bother trying to get up to the Forgotten Galleries entrance.)
6 of 7: Talk to gra-Shugarz about her condition, then either hand over a potion or cast a spell -- whatever cures her blight affliction.
7 of 7: Return to Valen to get a Restoration skill book (and give the tightwad his precious potion back if you didn't use it).
