The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Vodunius Nuccius
1 of 7: You get this quest from Vodunius Nuccius, an Imperial who's wandering around in the center of town. Talk to him about "little advice."
2 of 7: He'll recommend the silt striders and tell you to mention his name to the local strider operator.
3 of 7: The strider station is near the dock, across a small stream of water.
4 of 7: Talk to Darvame Hleran about "Vodunius Nuccius," and you'll learn that Nuccius is unhappy in Seyda Neen.
5 of 7: Go talk to Nuccius about his own name, and he'll say that he's outta here as soon as some sap buys a cursed ring from him for 100 gold.
6 of 7: You can buy it if you have 100 gold coins or more.
7 of 7: The ring is actually somewhat useful if you want to be able to add a temporary +5 to your Athletics skill frequently, but don't forget that it takes away 10 health points every time you use it. You may very well just decide to keep your money, especially at the beginning of the game when you have so little.
