The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

Inanius Egg Mine

  • 1 of 7: This is Dorvayne's third Hlaalu quest and is the third one in which you have to travel to a different region.
  • 2 of 7: This time, it's Bal Ur. You need to go to Suran, which is in the SE section of the region. Fortunately, you can take a silt strider to get there.
  • 3 of 7: Before you visit the mine at location 34 on the Bal Ur map, make a little easy money by visiting Avon Oran in his manor and telling him about Dorvayne's quest. Promise not to kill the kwama queen to get $1,000.
  • 4 of 7: Then go kill the kwama queen, anyway. After all, you can't finish the quest if you don't.
  • 5 of 7: Once you enter the cave, find the room with all the water.
  • 6 of 7: Search for an underwater passage leading to the queen's chamber.
  • 7 of 7: Once the queen is dead, you can loot the cave for eggs and then go report success to Dorvayne to get another $500. (Don't talk to Oran about the topic again, though.)
