The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
How can I get a Wizard's Staff?
of 8: Do you really need one?
of 8: You do if you're a Warlock and want to be promoted to the rank of Wizard.
of 8: Talk to any advancement-offering guy about "Advancement" when you're eligible to become a Wizard.
of 8: He'll offer to sell you a Wizard's Staff for 5,000 gold and will also give you a tip as to where you can steal one from a renegade wizard.
of 8: If you'd rather not part with the cash, you can go to Sud (location 10 on the Dagon Fel map) and kill Anirne for her staff.
of 8: Sud is a small and simple cave, but note that you have to levitate or jump up (with a very high Acrobatics skill) to the door leading to Anirne's room. There are also several powerful monsters between the entrance and her, so you'll have to deal with them, too.
of 8: Another source for a Wizard's Staff is the Urshilaku Burial Caverns (location 12 on the Ald Redaynia map), which you'll have to visit on a main quest if you haven't already.
of 8: Yet another staff can be found on a small stone table in the back room of the Ramimilk Shrine (location 31 on the Ald'ruhn map).
