The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints

Search for Her Father's Amulet

  • 1 of 9: This quest begins inside the Arenim Ancestral Tomb, which is location 2 on the Holamayan map.
  • 2 of 9: Talk to Satyana and agree to help her find her father's amulet. (If you don't, she'll attack you instead of accompanying you and helping you kill off the local undead population.)
  • 3 of 9: She doesn't mind if you take anything else in the tomb, so loot at will. (Not that there's much in here.)
  • 4 of 9: The amulet she's after is on a skeletal corpse in the locked north room. To find the key, check out the south room.
  • 5 of 9: The key is on the floor next to one of the hands on the skeletal corpse there.
  • 6 of 9: Soon after you take Augustus' Amulet off his corpse, Satyana will initiate conversation and demand that you hand it over. If you don't, she'll attack you.
  • 7 of 9: The amulet is fairly valuable and can cast some good offensive spells, so you might want to fight her for it.
  • 8 of 9: Or you could get her lost somewhere before you pick up the amulet. Lead her into a room with a door and then leave the room, close the door, and cast a spell to lock it real quick. She'll still magically talk to you when you get the amulet, but you can just choose to keep it and not worry about her getting to you.
  • 9 of 9: In any case, getting the amulet ends the quest.
