The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Kill Rival Vampires
1 of 4: Now Quarra wants you to go out and deplete the enemies' supplies of vampire troops. (Note that this quest isn't put in your quest journal.)
2 of 4: You need to kill at least twelve vampires that belong to Clan Berne or Clan Aundae. See the Vampire Lair List to find out where you can locate such people.
3 of 4: If you find the enemy HQ and renegade vampires to be too tough, then try the generic lairs.
4 of 4: Once you've killed your quota, get back to Quarra to get permission to use your Vampire Touch spell to feed off of the local cattle population (of course, you always could have).
