The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Collect rent from farmers.
1 of 6: Now Helvi wants you to go collect overdue rent from two farmers in the Bal Ur region.
2 of 6: Instead of going to all that trouble, just go visit Curio again and tell him about "rent and taxes."
3 of 6: You'll get the usual $500 reward for being a tattle-tale and can go pay Helvi the $100 the farmers owe out of that.
4 of 6: Or you could go ahead and look up the farmers and try to collect their rent, anyway. They're at locations 20 and 24 on the Bal Ur map.
5 of 6: They don't have the money, but Llovyn Andus will offer his pet guar, Corky, to you as payment. If you accept, you can lead Corky all the way to Drulene Falen's guar ranch in the Ald'ruhn region to get $200 for him. However, that is a great and mighty distance to have to travel with that guar following you and getting stuck in the dumbest places, so it's probably best to just skip it.
6 of 6: In any case, hand $100 over to Helvi to complete the quest (or kill the two farmers and report their deaths if you just can't part with the money).
