Murudius Flaeus's Debt
  • 1 of 9: Arethi wants you to go to Hla Oad in the Balmora region and get some money that Flaeus owes one of the Hlaalu noblemen.
  • 2 of 9: Take one of the local boats (at Ebonheart or NE of the Foreign Quarter) to Hla Oad and locate Flaeus.
  • 3 of 9: He's in his house near the boat dock.
  • 4 of 9: Talk to him about "debt money."
  • 5 of 9: You'll have to raise his disposition to 90 or successfully intimidate him (much easier) to get him to admit to hiding his money in a chest under his nearest neighbor's house.
  • 6 of 9: He gives you a key, so go outside and look under Fadila's house.
  • 7 of 9: Maneuver to where you can reach the chest, then open it and take all 943 gold coins.
  • 8 of 9: Sail back to Vivec and report to Arethi. She'll let you keep half the debt money plus all the excess (which adds up to 543 gold).
  • 9 of 9: NOTE: You could just kill Flaeus and then report his death to Arethi. That way you'd get to keep all 943 gold.
