The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
The Bad Actor
of 11: Talk to Miun-Gei in the enchanter's shop in the Foreign Quarter Lower Waistworks about "annoying fool" to get this quest.
of 11: The "annoying fool" is Marcel Maurard, who can be found nearby outside the shop.
of 11: Talk to him and encourage him to leave.
of 11: He won't, but will mention that he's an actor, and would love to be in a theater troupe.
of 11: NOTE: You could kill him and report back to Miun-Gei to get a $250 reward and be done with the quest now. Also note that in the unpatched version of the game, you can get unlimited gold (250 at a time) by talking to Miun-Gei about "annoying fool" over and over.
of 11: You now have "theater troupe" as a dialogue option, so go talk to other people about it.
of 11: You'll learn that Crassius Curio, who lives in a manor in the Hlaalu Plaza, has finished a play that he needs an actor for.
of 11: If you're a member of Great House Hlaalu, and are ready to gain a house sponsor, you'll have to get that done first before you can talk to Curio about this.
of 11: Then talk to Curio about "theater troupe" to find out he wants actors. You can also mention "new play" to get a copy of his idiotic mess-terpiece. It's funny to read, and it can be sold for a few coins.
of 11: Return to Marcel and talk to him about the good news.
of 11: Then go tell Miun-Gei his good news, and he'll give you an Iron Shardskewer.
