The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Make the Mound Kand pilgrimage.
of 12: Pilgrimage time again, pilgrim. Rotheloth asks you to go to the Mount Kand Cavern (location 10 on the Molag Mar map) and answer the Daedras' riddles.
of 12: The answers to all of the riddles are in the Yellow Book of Riddles, but you don't need it when you have me.
of 12: Go to Mount Kand and enter the cavern. It's a fairly simple, linear area with three Daedra that don't attack you.
of 12: The first one is the Flame Atronach. Talk to it to get its riddle.
of 12: The answer to the riddle is a homograph, meaning two words that are spelled the same but pronounced differently.
of 12: Lead is a metal, and lead is what you do when someone is following you. So choose "lead."
of 12: Move on to the Frost Atronach and talk to him to get his riddle about truth and lies.
of 12: You need to choose an answer that sets up a paradox.
of 12: Tell him that he will slay you with his sword. That way, he can't actually do it or he'll make what you said true, and he's only supposed to kill you with a sword if you lie. Dizzy yet?
of 12: The Storm Atronach's riddle will make you dizzier. He describes a very brief murder mystery and asks you to tell him who the killer is.
of 12: I'm not even going to try to explain the logic behind this one. The answer is that the orc did it, and that's all.
of 12: Now move on to the little Mount Kand Shrine pedestal and activate it to receive a blessing of Fortify Endurance and Intelligence and finish the quest. Report success back to Rotheloth.
