The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Make pilgrimage to Ald Daedroth.
of 14: On this last Four Corners quest, you'll need to visit the Ald Daedroth Shrine at location 10 on the Ald Daedroth map.
of 14: Be sure to ask Saryoni about the Gambolpuddy before you go.
of 14: To get to the shrine, sail to Tel Mora and then head north.
of 14: Before you enter the shrine, find the Temple cleric standing around outside of it and tell him you're here to loot the shrine. That way the Ordinators inside won't bother you.
of 14: Enter the Outer Shrine area, then go through the door that leads to the Inner Shrine.
of 14: That's where the giant statue is, but you don't have the Gambolpuddy to activate it with yet. However, you can steal the jewels from on top of the locked chest that's next to it. (But note that if you mess with the chest, a Dremora Lord will appear behind you and attack.)
of 14: Find the door to the Antechamber and enter it.
of 14: Make your way to the room with the two peaceful cult members and the Scamp. Even though you're not here on the main quest to make this place safe for the Ahemmusa Ashlanders to settle, you can talk to Hlireni Indavel about "Player of the Game" and try to get her to allow the Ahemmusa to come here. If her disposition or your reputation is high enough, she'll agree and her cult members won't attack you anymore.
of 14: The most important thing to do here, though, is to get the Gambolpuddy.
of 14: To find out where it is, you can talk to the drunken orc named Ra'Gruzgob. Choose "little secret" and give him some moon sugar (there's some on a nearby pedestal if you need it) to find out he has something under his pillow.
of 14: Or just skip him and go pick up the pillows on the nearby bedrolls. The Gambolpuddy glove is under one of them.
of 14: Take it and return to the Inner Shrine area.
of 14: Save your game, then activate the giant statue to finish the pilgrimage and receive a random half-day blessing to your Intelligence, Willpower, Luck, and Personality attributes. Some of them may lower, so check them and restore your save if it went badly.
of 14: After checking around for good loot, return to Saryoni and talk about duties to get your last quest.
