Where is the key to the big, barred double doors?
1 of 8: Serstan has it. Have you talked with him yet?
2 of 8: Go back to his room a second time and ask to watch him. You'll then be able to snoop around a bit.
3 of 8: Look at the top of his desk carefully.
4 of 8: The key is inside the small chest, which currently sits open on top of Serstan's desk.
5 of 8: See if you can find where he hides that chest when he is not using it.
6 of 8: He stores the small chest (with the key in it) in a wall niche beneath one of the wall hangings.
7 of 8: Look above the stool in the right corner.
8 of 8: Before you leave, make sure you can open that niche when you come back later.
