Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express Hints
How do I open the safe in the security room?
1 of 7: The safe belonged to Ratchett, as you find out from talking to MacQueen. I wonder if he made a note of the combination anywhere?
2 of 7: The only thing you find in his stuff that has a number on it is the note inside his hat --
3 of 7: -- which is a reference to a Bible verse. Who in this game might have a Bible with them?
4 of 7: Try Greta Ohlsson; she's a missionary, remember.
5 of 7: There's a Bible on the nightstand in her room. Take it and examine it in inventory to turn to the right chapter.
6 of 7: The verse you want is the last one, and the number you need is 6-6-6. Appropriate for a beast like Ratchett, don't you think?
7 of 7: To use this combination, put the cursor on the left side of the dial and click six times, till the marker at the top gets to 6. Move the cursor to the right and click till the dial goes all the way around and back to 6; move to the left and turn it all the way around back to 6 again. If you did it right, Antoinette will hear a click, and you can now click on the handle to open it.
