Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express Hints

How do I get out of the hut?

  • 1 of 8: Once again, remember that old line about doors and windows?
  • 2 of 8: If the door is locked, maybe we can use the window.
  • 3 of 8: Take a look out the window. It's too small to crawl out, but you might see something helpful; look at the door.
  • 4 of 8: As you can see, the broken padlock has been placed in the hasp to keep you in, but it's not locked. If you could lift it up, you could open the door and get out. But how?
  • 5 of 8: You're going to have to get out of here using the materials at hand, then. What is there to use in here?
  • 6 of 8: Not much. Did you look under the bed?
  • 7 of 8: Ah, the princess's parasol. Just what we need -- it's long and has a hook on the end.
  • 8 of 8: Look out the window, then use the parasol on the padlock to lift it out. You can now take all your stuff and go back to the train.
