How can I escape from the library?
1 of 12: There's a hidden escape route -- you won't need to use the main doors.
2 of 12: However, to find that hidden exit, you're going to need to solve a time-consuming logic puzzle.
3 of 12: Have you been inside the library's index room yet?
4 of 12: It's one screen to the left of where Godfried use to hang out.
5 of 12: See that bas relief on the wall?
6 of 12: It's a slide puzzle. Or, it will be, once we find the missing tile.
7 of 12: Use it with the bas relief, and begin the puzzle.
8 of 12: Your goal here is basically to reassemble the image by sliding the tiles around -- I'm sure you've seen a puzzle like this before.
9 of 12: There's no easy way to give hints, except to say that the space with no tile will end up in the upper-left corner. You'll also see four tiles with horses' legs -- these go along the bottom row. The image of a sword and a man's face belongs in the upper-right corner.
10 of 12: Label the tiles from 1 to 16, from left to right, so the first row is 1-4, second is 5-8, third is 9 to 12, and fourth is 13 to 16. Here's the solution -- and it's a lengthy one:
