How do I get up the staircase that's behind the locked door?
1 of 6: You first need to worry about getting *down* the staircase.
2 of 6: Take the elevator up to the next level and see what you can find there.
3 of 6: The Channelwood book in the library on Myst Island will give you some important clues here.
4 of 6: Look for the map of the treetop dwellings. You should be able to see the staircase on the map.
5 of 6: And you should also be able to see that a line connects one of the other buildings to the one with the staircase in it.
6 of 6: If you walk into that room, you should be able to see a red lever. Pull it and the door to the staircase will unlock.
