Myst Hints

The real rotation controls don't have any displays on them!

  • 1 of 3: That's why you need to use the simulator first.  The timing that works on the simulator will also work on the real controls.  So count how long it takes for the tower to rotate, depending on how you're using the controls, and then hold the levers in place for that same amount of time.
  • 2 of 3: Also note that the simulator and the real controls both have sound clues.
  • 3 of 3: Each of the four positions has a distinctive sound associated with it.  If you can't get the timing right, just rotate the tower for a random length of time and try to match the sounds.
