Myst III: Exile Hints

I've made it down a few staircases, but I'm stuck there. What's next?

  • 1 of 5: Keep heading down the path until you reach a bridge, cross the bridge, and proceed until you reach a dead end with an orange plant and a rolled-up green plant in front of you.
  • 2 of 5: If you click on the orange plant, you'll turn it on.  The light will cause the other plant to unroll.
  • 3 of 5: Walk to the far end of the green plant, and you should see a blue handlebar-like plant in front of you.
  • 4 of 5: Click on it, and your cursor will look like the plant.
  • 5 of 5: It's a hanging plant -- maybe you can use it to swing somewhere interesting.
