Myst III: Exile Hints
I've found a bridge plant that I can't activate. What should I do?
of 12: First, if you can't find the plant, these hints may help:
of 12: There is, of course, a way to unroll that plant, but not with anything right next to it.
of 12: Remember that the plant unrolls when light shines on it.
of 12: Head back up towards the painting and take the other fork in the path.
of 12: It will lead to a group of three blue plants.
of 12: You can examine two of the three plants -- the ones at the end of the path.
of 12: These are somewhat similar to another kind of plant that you might have seen earlier. Experiment with both of the accessible ones to see if you can figure out what they do.
of 12: They basically act like reflectors, directing light at what you see when you look into them.
of 12: There are two reflectors that you can look at here -- you'll need to use both of them.
of 12: The one in the middle can be aimed at the bridge plant.
of 12: And the one at the far end of the path is the one that catches the sun's rays.
of 12: Point the far reflector plant at the middle one to light it up. Then go to the middle plant and aim it at the bridge plant to unroll it -- you can now proceed down that path.
