How should I set the top band?
1 of 4: Windows #1 (in front of the stairs) and #4 (two spaces to the left of that) have the irregular contacts at the top.
2 of 4: At each window, there are two positions that connect the circuit to the contacts at the top.
3 of 4: There's no way to tell those solutions apart right now -- just pick one of them for now, and if the machine doesn't start up after you've solved the other two bands, then choose the other solution.
4 of 4: You can also tell if you have the correct solution by going to window #5 after you've solved the middle band. Only one of the two solutions that work at windows #1 and #4 will also connect the top and middle bands at
