Myst IV: Revelation Hints
Aargh! Just tell me how to move the pieces to solve the puzzle!
1 of 19: This solution will only work if none of the pieces have been moved. If you have moved some of the pieces already, you may need to restore the game from a previous save. Once you are ready to begin, you may want to make a fresh game save, so you could restart the puzzle if you need to. The following letters represent the following locations: F = Figurine (carved); C = Chess set; N = Nara Crest; P = Picture; B = Linking book.
2 of 19: Starting on the Nara crest (N), pick up the dialogue symbol there and move it to the chess set (C).
3 of 19: Next, pick up the stack from the linking book (B), and move it around the circle of locations in this order: crest (N), book (B), picture (P).
4 of 19: Pick up the symbol from Nara crest (N) and deliver it to the chess set (C).
5 of 19: Move the stack on the book to the Nara crest: B, N.
6 of 19: Move the stack on the crest to the chess set: N, C.
7 of 19: Move the symbol on the figurine to the chess set: F, C.
8 of 19: Make the remainder of the moves in the following order: Starting on C; move the stack this way: F, C, N, C, N, C, N.
9 of 19: F, P
10 of 19: C, F, C, F
11 of 19: C, F (This should solve this portion of the puzzle).
