Myst IV: Revelation Hints
Take me through the moves to the solution, one step at a time.
1 of 9: This solution will only work if none of the pieces have been moved. If you have moved some of the pieces already, you may need to restore the game from a previous save. Once you are ready to begin, you may want to make a fresh game save, so you could restart the puzzle if you need to. The following letters represent the following locations: B = School Book, L = Life Support System; C = Workshop Chair, G = Memory Globe
2 of 9: Starting on the chair (C), pick up the dialogue symbols there and move them to the globe (G), the chair (C), then to the book (B).
3 of 9: Next, pick up the stack from the memory globe (G), and move it around the circle of locations in this order: life support (L), globe (G), and life support (L).
4 of 9: Pick up the symbol on the globe (G) and deliver it to the chair (C).
5 of 9: Move the stack on the life support system to the globe, to the chair, to the globe, to the life support, to the book (that should finish this location), to the chair (this one will also be finished).
6 of 9: Move the stack from the globe, to the life support, to the globe: G, L, G.
7 of 9: Move the symbol on the life support to the globe, to the life support: L, G, L.
8 of 9: Starting on G; move the stack this way: L, G.
9 of 9: Starting on L, go to G (finished), then L (finished).
