Myst IV: Revelation Hints
How do I find the first Fire location and its offering?
1 of 6: To begin, zip to the crossing of the waterways. Study this location carefully, so that you can navigate its three paths quickly and easily (you'll be back here in a minute with some burning sap).
2 of 6: To get the sap, choose the path that crosses the waterways (when the water is on your right side, the path is ahead and to the right).
3 of 6: Only take one step onto this path. You will see a burning sap plant here. This is the location you will collect the sap for your offering. To collect the sap, wait unit one of the flowers seems to droop a little from the weight of the sap running down, then place your hand-cursor under the flower.
4 of 6: Immediately walk back the way you arrived (turn so that the burning sap plant is on your right side, then move forward).
5 of 6: You will be back to the location beside the crossing waterways. Pivot to the right and take the path there (if you were to put the crossing waterways on your right side, this path leads ahead and to the left).
6 of 6: Move forward three times in this direction to give your offering to the Fire Spirit.
