Myst IV: Revelation Hints

Where can I find Achenar's journal?

  • 1 of 8: As you explore Serenia, you will find the Age divided into two main areas: the forest, and the village.  You will need to visit the village before you will get any clue to the whereabouts of Achenar's journal.
  • 2 of 8: Since Achenar is the one who hid it, Achenar will have to be the one who tells you where it is. 
  • 3 of 8: Explore around the village in Serenia until you run across Achenar there.
  • 4 of 8: He says that he has hidden his journal in a stone pillar, in a forest, near where two rivers are crossing.
  • 5 of 8: You might have a "zip" already, with two rivers crossing.  If you do, go ahead and zip right to it.
  • 6 of 8: Standing with the waterways on your right, take the fork that goes to the left.
  • 7 of 8: You will only need to move forward, onto the left fork, once.
  • 8 of 8: Notice the large rock to the left of the path?  There is a small indentation on the side of the rock, which contains a box with Achenar's journal inside.
