Myst IV: Revelation Hints
Help! That didn't do anything!
of 9: Hmm... Perhaps the crate isn't heavy enough.
of 9: Can you think of a way to make the crate heavier?
of 9: What did you use for weight to make the elevator work?
of 9: You won't be able to roll cannonballs from the pile you used for the other crate...
of 9: ...but there is a pile closer to the elevator.
of 9: Make sure you've replaced the crate into the elevator, then lower it to the original level (use the slider switch to release the counter-weight outside the elevator).
of 9: Notice that the crate inside the elevator can slide back and forth?
of 9: Slide it to its position outside the elevator, then walk to that location.
of 9: From here, you can roll one or more cannonballs into the crate.
