Myst IV: Revelation Hints
Help me find the totem pole in the grass-lands.
1 of 7: Start at the area you landed in, after the hang-gliding ride. To "zip" back there, click on the scene immediately to the right of the ship (it may be greyed-out). Learn how to use "zip" mode by reading Movement and cursor interaction.
2 of 7: Standing in the area marked with animal tracks in the pathway, there are three paths leading from here, one of which leads directly up to the tent used for hang-gliding.
3 of 7: Using at the path with the tent as your guide, the path you should take is directly behind you (pan to the left, taking the first path you see).
4 of 7: Follow that path straight ahead, two moves through the forest, and three more moves through the grasslands.
5 of 7: You should find yourself standing on a path that continues straight ahead to the lake, with a second path leading off to the left. (If you've reached the lake, you've gone too far and need to move back to the previous location.)
6 of 7: Take the path to the left (you can see a large rock in the distance on this path).
7 of 7: When you reach the large rock, follow the path just to the right of the rock.
