Myst IV: Revelation Hints
From the forest...
1 of 12: If you've already been to the ship (or close to it), after landing in the jungle, then you can use the "zip" feature to get you back there quickly. If you haven't walked back yet, the zip location for the ship will be greyed-out. You will only need to walk back to the location (or close to it) once to re-enable this zip location. If you need help finding the path to walk back on, continue with the following hints.
2 of 12: Start at the area you landed in, after the hang-gliding ride. To "zip" back there, click on the scene immediately to the right of the ship (it may be greyed-out). Learn how to use "zip" mode by reading Movement and cursor interaction.
3 of 12: Standing in the area marked with animal tracks in the pathway, there are three paths leading from here, one of which leads directly up to the tent used for hang-gliding.
4 of 12: Turn towards the path with the tent.
5 of 12: Move forward two times.
6 of 12: Careful in this location. The path forks, and it is difficult to tell the paths apart in the jungle. The path you want to take veers slightly to the right. It will look like you are heading towards some large black rocks in the distance.
7 of 12: Continue to move forward. You will move towards the mountain, then climb up the mountain.
8 of 12: When you are back to the cave where you first found the tent, turn to the left.
9 of 12: Step forward until you see the ship.
10 of 12: There is a rope ladder that can take you down, towards the ship.
11 of 12: Look down to find the rope and climb down.
12 of 12: From here, the path is pretty straight. Keep walking towards the ship.
