Myst V: End of Ages Hints
I've gotten into the station, but how do I get out?
1 of 7: You could just go back the way you came in -- by climbing back the ladder. But that won't help you get any closer to the end of this age.
2 of 7: If you get to the top of the stairs, you may see a button that looks like it will open the door out.
3 of 7: But there doesn't seem to be any power
4 of 7: There's a landing on the stairs as you're just coming from the tram, before the main staircase, where you should see the same pair of levers and the same green screen that you saw back in the red control room.
5 of 7: Experiment with those levers to make the screen as bright as possible, and power will be returned to the door switch and the rest of the station.
6 of 7: Specifically, the left-hand lever needs to be about 1/4 of the way down, and the right-hand lever should be centered. The power will then come on. Go back up the stairs and press the now-lit button at the top to reveal the stairs back up to the tram station.
7 of 7: From there, you can press the button on the main door to open it.
