What is the purpose of the chessboard in the middle of the room?
1 of 5: Look carefully at the board. (This is a very good place to save your game.)
2 of 5: Note the cutouts at the four corners of the chessboard.
3 of 5: Looks like they're active spots -- i.e., something can be placed there.
4 of 5: What do you have in your inventory -- preferably something you have four of -- to place on the chessboard?
5 of 5: Use the four Anubis statuettes that you've collected, and place one on each corner.
