The Mystery of the Mummy Hints
Inventory
The inventory (i.e., items that you may have picked up and are carrying) in "The Mystery of the Mummy" is crucial to solving the various puzzles throughout the game. Any items you are carrying will be stored in your inventory. The inventory screen may be accessed by clicking on the attache case in the lower left corner of the gameplay screen.
Using inventory items is quite simple. When you are at a location that can interact with an inventory item, the cursor will change to a "working hand" (hand-holding-a-wrench) cursor, to indicate such. You can then click on the attache case to open your inventory, select an item, and attempt to use it (normally by clicking) on the appropriate location of the screen.
Some inventory items may be combined with others. When combining items is possible, the cursor will change to the working hand, when over the item in your inventory, to indicate such. To combine items, click on an inventory item and bring it over to the item you wish to combine it with.
There is no limit to how many items you can hold at any one time.
