Nancy Drew 1: Secrets Can Kill! (Remastered) Hints
Where are all the quarters?
of 25: There are 7 quarters in Aunt Eloise's home, 1 in Maxine's Diner, and 50 in Paseo del Mar High School (plus another 80 if you get the Easter egg). When you go to these locations, if you don't see the sparkle right away, wait a couple seconds till it flashes, then click to pick it up.
of 25: In Aunt Eloise's home, look in the credenza drawer where you found the letter about the sorority; the quarter is in the dark corner to the left of the calculator.
of 25: There's another quarter in the foyer, in the wall lamp to the left of the front door.
of 25: In the living room, open the drawer on the end table to the right of the couch; the quarter is at the back behind the envelope.
of 25: To the left of the TV, there's a quarter in the space between the World Almanac books.
of 25: In the chest to the right of the TV cabinet, there are two quarters in the two rolled white blankets on the right.
of 25: Finally, go to the window in the living room and look at the end table to the left of the couch; when you zoom in to look at the books on the end table, you'll see a quarter winking at you from behind the sofa.
of 25: In Maxine's Diner, there's only one quarter. Turn left when you enter and move one screen towards Detective Beech in the booth, then wait for a sparkle from the top of the mustard jar on the table at the right.
of 25: There are 50 quarters to be found at the school. Woof! Deep breath, and let's start.
of 25: In the entryway, look for a quarter on top of the first letter of the last word in the quote from da Vinci.
of 25: Turn left and head down the hall; stop at Jake's locker and look for a quarter on top of the padlock of the locker to the left of his.
of 25: After you open Jake's locker, look down and find a quarter on the lower hinge of his locker door.
of 25: Continue down the hall and turn right; walk one more screen and look for a quarter on top of the trash can on the right.
of 25: In the gym area, turn left to the closed sports equipment window and look for a quarter on top of the tennis racket on the counter.
of 25: Leave the gym area and turn left to continue down the back hall. When you reach the doors to the library, turn right and look for a winking quarter in the magnifying glass of the Nancy Drew poster on the left.
of 25: Leave the teacher's lounge and the student lounge and turn left. One screen along, look for a quarter in the water fountain on the right.
of 25: Head down the hall and look for a quarter on the floor to the right of the double doors next to the entrance to the maintenance room.
of 25: Inside the maintenance room, before you go down the elevator, look for a quarter on top of the barrel to the left of the elevator door (with a red "Flammable" picture on it).
of 25: Downstairs in the boiler room, turn left and look for a quarter on top of the orange cone on the right.
of 25: Back upstairs, turn to go down the hall back to the front door, but stop and turn left to look for a quarter under the fire extinguisher on the left, on the white floor tile. And that's the last one!
of 25: Incidentally, once you've collected all the quarters, feel free to spend them as you like on soda here at the school, or to use the jukebox or play Barnacle Blaster at the diner. You get credit for all of them just by picking them up; you don't have to keep them. (And how much would 130 quarters weigh anyway?)
