What is there to do in the kitchen?
1 of 5: Oddly, no one seems to care if you want to wander into the kitchen and loot the place. This is not usually the case in diners, so don't try this at home.
2 of 5: Here at Maxine's, however, just saunter on back there and no one will stop you. The entrance is through those two white swinging doors in the left corner of the room, behind the counter.
3 of 5: There are two ciphers, a crumpled note, a carved message, and a ladle you can pick up.
4 of 5: The ciphers are on the two posted messages; the crumpled note is next to a dish pan at the left, and the ladle is inside the pan; and the carved message is on the wooden cutting board at the back of the room.
5 of 5: Oh, and there's a pair of bolt cutters being used to hold the gas line together, underneath the counter at the back. Man, I would NOT eat here.
