What am I supposed to be doing with them?
1 of 4: In the original game, these messages were just extra puzzles for the fun of it. In the remastered version of the game, they're a vital part of the central mystery.
2 of 4: In most of the puzzles, the message is in a cipher or code of some kind. Most of the coded messages aren't that important, but you might as well decipher them all.
3 of 4: The more important part of each message is the unexplained letters and number at the end of each one. On the one found on the bulletin board opposite Jake's locker, for example, after the coded part it says, "He:U2."
4 of 4: You'll find out eventually what the letters and numbers mean. For now, look for the messages and write down the letters and numbers. (If you've found some but didn't write them down, look in Nancy's journal to find all the ones you've seen.)
