Diner, Menu

  • 1 of 8: This one is to be found in any of the menus in the diner. There's one in a slot on the left as you enter, and another on one of the tables.
  • 2 of 8: You probably noticed that random letters and words are in odd colors -- red, green, blue, and purple. Weird!
  • 3 of 8: What happens if you read just the letters of one color?
  • 4 of 8: The green letters spell out the word "journal." That must be the key here.
  • 5 of 8: Read the red letters first, then the green, then blue, then purple. The decoded message is --
  • 6 of 8: "His journal is my cash cow."
  • 7 of 8: This won't mean anything until you're almost at the end of the game, when someone mentions a valuable journal. (A cash cow is a person or thing that gives money the way a cow gives milk.)
  • 8 of 8: The letters and number at the end are Xe:R3.
