How do I get the eye in the Newton's Cradle toy?
1 of 3: This is one of those desk toys made up of a bunch of steel balls on strings. When you pull one out and let go, it hits the others, and the only one that moves is the one on the end. Physicists get all excited about this kind of thing, but for the rest of us it's just a fairly mindless way to pass the time.
2 of 3: This one is on top of the desk. Pull the lever on the left to get it started, and notice that the last ball on the right is actually another glass eye.
3 of 3: If you're quick, you can grab the eye when it swings out of the contraption to the right. With each swing it moves less, and after two or three it doesn't come far enough out of the case for you to grab it. Push the button to stop the balls, the pull the lever on the left to try again, till you get glass eye number 15.
