Nancy Drew 18: The Phantom of Venice Hints
What are the rules?
1 of 7: Enrico explains them to you, but here they are again in case you forget (like I did).
2 of 7: You're trying to use your cards to take cards in the middle. You do this by matching one of your cards to the cards in the middle.
3 of 7: You're matching numbers here. A 5 can take a 5, or any cards that add up to 5. It doesn't work the other way, though -- you can't use a 3 and a 2 in your hand to take a 5 in the middle.
4 of 7: If you can't take anything, you have to put a card down.
5 of 7: After you either take cards or put down a card, that's the end of your turn, and Enrico gets to go.
6 of 7: When you both use up the cards in your hands, you get three more and keep playing. When all the cards have been dealt, you're done, and it's time to count up the points.
7 of 7: There are a whole bunch of different ways to earn points: -- When you take all the cards on the table, that's a scopa, and you get 1 point for each scopa. -- If you take the 7 of coins, that's 1 point. -- If you take more coins cards than Enrico, that's 1 point. -- If you take more cards overall than Enrico, that's 1 point. -- If you take more high-scoring cards than Enrico, that's 1 point. And the first person to reach 11 points wins the game.
